It is Continuity Care Home Nurses philosophy to make sure we send only qualified health professionals to our patients. Each staff member is screened as to competence, knowledge, and sensitivity to the patient’s medical problems. The agency provides regular supervisory visits to the patient’s home by our nursing management team so that quality care is maintained. We also feel that the education of our staff is a very important part of this process. We provide classes, in services, and training to our staff in the office and in the home on a regular basis to maintain state of the art knowledge in all new therapies provided to our patients. Orientation to new products and equipment and return demonstration is required for all staff using the equipment.
There is a competency exam and intensive screening procedure that all staff members must pass before being sent to a patient’s home. In addition, there are stringent performance and quality standards that must be maintained to stay employed with Continuity Care Home Nurses.
All field nurses have had drug screens and criminal background check and are insured & bonded for your protection. All employees have at least one year of clinical experience in the position they have applied for (no new graduates) and are oriented by RN supervisory staff.
